You'd have to have a heart of stone...

...not to laugh out loud at Warren Kinsella's deep concern that "this Brault guy" has a fair trial and gets what's coming to him.

And by the way, I don't have any beef with the metric system.

P.S. - I've had numerous hits today from Google searches for "Gomery Blobs". Apparently a whole lotta Canadians are discovering a brave new world today on their lunch hours. And you will note I have changed my tagline at the top of the page. Good day!

Somehow, other jurisdictions have found ways to give alleged criminals a fair trial in the face of tremendous publicity. Think of the LA Riots. OJ Simpson. Lyle and Eric Menendez (twice!). Michael Jackson. And that's just in California.

Does any one individual have so little faith in the Canadian public that "deep concern" over the publication ban is necessary? Does he really think that all Canadians are like his friends in the Liberal Party?
